The Oregon FFA (formerly Oregon Future Farmers of America) is the state affiliate of the National FFA Organization. The organization serves 4500 students in 103 local chapters through out the state.
The FFA is an integral component of Agricultural Education and develops premier leadership, personal growth and career success for its members. Oregon FFA is guided by a State Officer Team, a Board of Directors and state staff through a grant by the Oregon Department of Education - Office of Professional Technical Education.
FFA is the practical and applied study of math, science, English, social science and leadership using agriculture education.
Since 1928, the FFA motto "Learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live and living to serve" has embodied what FFA is now trying to expose all students to through 21st century schools.
The FFA is an integral part of each student's' total agriculture education experience. Its delivery system consists of three main components:

Join FFA
The FFA is an integral part of the Agricultural Education program. To join the FFA you must be enrolled in an Ag Science Education course in your local school. Contact your school's counselor or Ag Science instructor to enroll in Ag Ed and join the FFA.
